27 May 2015 (Sydney), – PIMCO, a leading global investment management firm, has hired David Erdonmez as Senior Vice President and Account Manager to head PIMCO Australia’s Investment Due Diligence Group (IDDG). Mr. Erdonmez will begin in June and report to Adrian Stewart, Executive Vice President and Head of PIMCO Australia and New Zealand.
In this new role, Mr. Erdonmez will be responsible for leading PIMCO Australia’s newly formed Investment Due Diligence Group (IDDG) which includes the servicing of all research house relationships. IDDG is also responsible for developing and executing on product strategies that help clients achieve their long-term investment objectives.

About David Erdonmez:
Prior to joining PIMCO, Mr. Erdonmez was most recently Chief Executive Officer of Lonsec Research. Before that, he was General Manager of Managed Funds Research at Lonsec and Head of Fixed Interest Managed Funds Research at Standard & Poor’s Funds Services. Mr. Erdonmez has 22 years of investment experience with additional positions including five years at JPMorgan London in a variety of fixed income analytical roles, and five years at JBWere Capital Markets as a money market dealer. Mr. Erdonmez holds a master's degree in applied finance from Macquarie University and a graduate diploma in applied finance and investment from FINSIA.
